The Cannabis Boomer's Daily Feed for November 20, 2025

The latest cannabis research suggests that cannabis may help curb alcohol consumption, with a study finding that cannabis use reduced participants' urge for alcohol, lowered their alcohol intake, and delayed when they started drinking. In Arizona, the state has closed a loophole that allowed some businesses to sell THC-infused edibles and beverages without a marijuana license, requiring all such products to be sold through licensed dispensaries.

Recent cannabis science publications include a study that identified stigma phenotypes associated with substance use in social media narratives, which can inform interventions to reduce stigma. Another study found that inhaled cannabis with a balanced ratio of CBD and THC provided sustained pain relief and improved quality of life in patients with painful diabetic neuropathy over a 5-year period.
